PL:21 is a community project I have helped instigate that stands for Positive Living in the 21st Century and gets its name from the postcode. It is a Transition Initiative that follows in the footsteps of Transition Town Totnes. The brand is designed to depict not only a positive symbol but the point at which the four parishes that make up the PL21 postcode meet. This point coincides with where the original Ivy Bridge crosses the River Erme and where the largest town within the PL21 area, Ivybridge, gets its name.
Early projects for the PL:21 project have included creating an Ivybridge bag to help Ivybridge go plastic bag free, and the instigation of an Energy Fair for later this year.
